Hedera will be upgrading and restarting the Testnet on Thursday, November 19th, at 17:00 UTC to v0.9.0. The restart will take approximately 2 hours to complete, during which time all network services on the Hedera Testnet will be offline. v0.9.0 includes Hedera API deprecations which might require action (https://hedera.com/blog/changes-to-hedera-api-hapi-for-v0-8-0-and-v0-9-0). This upgrade should not affect your project's compatibility or data. As a precaution, we always recommend preserving project data prior to any Testnet upgrade and restart.
